GDMs pulseaudio instance captures bluetooth headset
I have been having trouble setting my bluetooth speaker profile to a2dp_sink. The profile wasn't available at all but I was previously using it in a simple startx session without any kind of problem. So after a moderately insane amount of trial & error I found out it was due to gdm capturing the headset. There are similar reports and troubleshooting sections on this issue in both Arch and Debian wikis:

Shouldn't this be addressed by default in gdm itself, not downstream? I mean, having bt crappy audio quality is not worth enabling bt in a login screen.
