Left-aligned room text
Fractal limits the chat to 600px wide, which makes it significantly harder to use compared to other chatting apps. Seems like limiting text width alone is not enough to make it easier to read.
I could not find other examples of desktop-oriented chatting applications that limit text width so much, and also center align it. The closest I could find is Telegram, which left-aligns the chat. It also has a lot of whitespace, but it's much more pleasant to use in practice.
Seems like all other chatting apps I could find have full width texts.
Ideally Fractal would have full width, or at least larger texts, but https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/fractal/-/issues/547 seems to have been closed under the assumption that this is not a problem, which contradicts reality, but reality doesn't seem to matter much anyway these days.
