Hybrid UDF-ISO9660 images not supported
When opening "hybrid" UDF images (such as newer Windows installer .ISOs), only 2 files are shown: an empty folder, .
, and a README.TXT
containing the following:
This disc contains a "UDF" file system and requires an operating system
that supports the ISO-13346 "UDF" file system specification.
This aligns with the output of e.g. iso-info -l
, however, iso-info -U
(as well as other utilities such as 7z
) are able to see the full contents.
Whenever an image is "both" a valid UDF and ISO9660 filesystem, I believe it is not appropriate to open the ISO9660 side by default. This usually contains only informational messages such as the above, and not the data the user would most likely be interested in.
