"Show the Files" opens nonexistent directory if "keep directory structure" is disabled.
Version: File Roller 3.36.3 - Linux Mint 20 Cinnamon
Description: When extracting an archive and un-checking "keep directory structure" the "Show the Files" action after successful extraction does not navigate to the proper directory. It tries to open a directory as if "keep directory structure" was selected.
Example: When extracting an archive to [/home/user] and "keep directory structure" is enabled, a new directory is created and labelled by the name of the archive file ex. [/home/user/archive]. With "keep directory structure" disabled the new directory is not created and archive files are extracted to [/home/user]. In either case clicking "show the files" after a successful extraction tries to open the directory [/home/user/archive] even if that directory was never created by file roller during extraction.
Steps to recreate:
- Open an archive with File Roller and click "Extract"
- Select location to extract files to and un-check "keep directory structure"
- When extraction completes click "Show the files"
- An error saying "Failed to open directory" will be displayed.
