Utilizе CALDAV:calendar-user-address-set
CALDAV:calendar-user-address-set
contains the aliases a user has. These aliases can be used for:
-
populating the Orginizer (initial idea of the field), when new iCalendar events are uploaded, and
-
sending emails, by choosign one of the alises.
== When a new Collection account is set up, that utilizes both Mails (imap/sendmail/pop) and CalDAV calendar, extract from CALDAV:calendar-user-address-set the aliases, and install them in Evolution for both aforementioned applications.
This is not a contradicion or misuse of the protocols. A server can provide over JMAP both emails and iCalendar management and then the JMAP server can provide aliases for both services.
Currently the aliases (for emails) have to be set up manually every time after an account is installed and this is a lot of repetitive work. Considering CALDAV:calendar-user-address-set will automate the process further.
