Calendar: Show all calendar events in the List View
Hello,
Current behavior: Evolution Calendar List View shows only the appointments for the next few weeks. Apparently there exists no setting to change the timespan into the future for which appointments are displayed in the list view. The only way to show future appointments is to click forward the current month in the calendar widget.
Expected behavior: all future appointments should be shown in the list view, or at least a timespan based on the number of months should be configurable, e.g. "the appointments of the next XX months". Alternatively, a number of appointments to show should be configurable, e.g. "display XX upcoming appointments". In my opinion, there should not be any filtering at all, since the very purpose of having a list view is to not have a filter regarding the timespan, instead the user expects all future appointments to be displayed in the list view.
Every other first-time user of Evolution I know of had the same remarks. It is very confusing to have explicitly time-based views (Day, Work Week, ...) where obviously only the appointments of a certain timespan are shown, and a list-based view that also filters by some obscure timeframe which is not at all obvious to the average user or expected by him.
Please disable any timespan limitation for the list-based view of calendar entries, and, if some users deem it neccessary, add a configuration option for them which is disabled by default.
