Confusing Sync/Offline Settings & Operation
I'm using Evolution 3.28.2 with Office 365 on a Corporate Account. My mailbox has 11k emails just in my Inbox.
The settings for Offline Operation & Sync are confusing me. All I want is Evolution to keep X months of emails (for example 3 months) on disk, and the rest in Office 365. (this is how Outlook behaves for Cached Exchange Mode)
I expect evolution to download those 3 months including attachments, so they are available to me in a plane.!
For the rest, evolution shall only keep the headers, and only download message if I click on such message ie after a search.
Now, we have 2 settings:
- In Account Settings for Sync. This is set at 3 months
- An offline setting in each folder. This checkbox can be fully selected or partially selected (not sure what partial selection does?)
If I click 2, it tries to download the whole 11k emails, not only 3 months. If I only choose the 3 months in account settings, it does not download any email. Just operates when online. For example, If I left it open, unplugged from network with unread messages, if I click any unread message, it can't show me the content.
