Doesn't produce GNOME "not responding" dialogs when deadlocked
It seems that for at least some subset of situations where an application hangs, GNOME Shell (I believe it is) will pop up a dialog saying that the application isn't responding and gives the user the options to wait or kill it.
I don't ever see this for Evolution even when it is outright hung to the point of not even painting the UI any more such as the situation this ticket was filed for as an example.
Why doesn't Evolution hanging trigger this dialog? Would it be difficult to fix that?
Because... while it's not a feature yet, this would close a gap in being able to easily report such hanging applications and Evolution would benefit from that.
