New appointments or meetings on CalDAV-calendar are off by one hour until 2022-03-27 (daylight switch EU)
My Evolution 3.42.4 (via Flatpak) does have a severe bug: whenever I create an appointment or meeting, the resulting appointment is one hour off.
My time-zone is set to Europe/Vienna. The Calendar also shows "Vienna" in the upper left corner. My Evolution is talking to a Horde 2.5.23 (with Europe/Vienna TZ in its global settings).
Steps to reproduce:
- Go to my CalDAV calendar of 2022-03-17
- Mark an hour like 20-21h (8-9pm)
- Context menu: "New Appointment..." or "New Meeting..." (doesn't matter)
- Enter Summary
- Checking: Time slot is correct (20-21h) and TZ is "Europe/Vienna".
- Save and close
Now, a new appointment is created and shown on 19-20h (7-8pm). If it is a meeting with peers, they also get the wrong time slot.
If I do the procedure above on a day after 2022-03-27 (EU switch to summer time), the issue does NOT appear. If I create an appointment on Horde web interface, the appointments are in their correct time slot on each day. If I create an appointment on a local (non-CalDAV) calendar, the issue does NOT appear.
I did not have this issue a couple of days ago with Evolution 3.40.1 and USA not being in summer time.
Educated guess: Maybe there is an issue because the USA has already changed to summer time and the EU is about to change to summer time on 2022-03-27?
Update: TZ of Horde.
