backup-restore: Handle user settings through GSettings, not DConf
Some users seem to be automating their backups by calling evolution-backup
in their cron/systemd-timers.
In the Evolution Flatpak, the evolution-backup
binary gets installed in /app/libexec/evolution-backup
, and since the container is sandboxed, it can't write up the backup file anywhere outside the scope of the sandbox.
Maybe having an argument that can be passed directly to the main evolution executable, such as flatpak run org.gnome.Evolution --backup <my-backup.tar.gz>
could be useful for these use cases.
