Alternative Reply: Do not ellipsize template names
A small annoyance I have is that when I use the ctrl+alt+R "alternative reply" dialog to reply using a template while preserving the subject line, the text inside the combobox of those subject lines is automatically ellipsized (shortened with ...), which means I can't actually differentiate them easily, because I usually have fairly long yet similar subject lines to differentiate between the multiple variants, and I have that in multiple languages. So it could be something as long as these:
Documents manquants pour candidature au doctorat à l'École Nationale de Machintruc - France
Documents manquants pour candidature au doctorat à l'École Nationale de Machintruc - Haïti
Missing documents for doctoral application at the University of Whateveria - USA
...Which will end up looking roughly like this in the alt reply dialog:
Documents manquants pour candidature au doctorat à l'Éc...
Documents manquants pour candidature au doctorat à l'Éc...
Missing documents for doctoral application at the Unive...
Rather than saving and restoring the dialog's width to allow for a wider combobox, which is more complicated and also is a bit wonky (the combobox resizing vs ellipsization behavior doesn't seem to always apply instantaneously), I would suggest this simpler technical fix: disable ellipsization of the contents of that combobox. Normally, subject lines can be fairly long but I don't expect them to exceed my screen's width (1280px+) so it should work out fine (currently my longest subject lines use up to one third of the screen width in that resized combobox)...
