Composer: BACKSPACE key on empty line simulates DEL key
Sorry for the weird description in the title, but I don't know how to precisely describe the behavior better.
I'm on Evolution 3.38.1 on Arch Linux.
(Assume the "|" sign is my cursor!) When writing a new Mail which contains also empty lines, e.g.:
Test
Tes
Te
T
|
Test
Tes
Te
T
If I press the BACKSPACE key 4 times the following is happening:
Test
Tes
Te
T
|Test
Tes
Te
T
Which is equal to pressing the DEL-Key.
What I would expect to happen (remember 4 times BACKSPACE) is this.
Test
Tes
Te
|
Test
Tes
Te
T
This only happens in Evolution and today is basically the first day I recognized this strange behavior. I also tested in other Gnome Application, like gedit, there the behavior of the backspace key is as expected.
