Add option to show public folders beside user folders
Hi,
in our organization we heavily use public folders. We use the for collaboration, sharing informations specific to individual tasks and short term archival. For this, subfolders are created very often, and get moved in the main folders structure a lot.
It would be immensely helpful, if Evolution could browse and use public folders without the need of prior subscription. In addition a multi level folder structure of public folders would be supported.
Simple example:
purchases
├── demmand
│ ├──10x replacement keyboards
│ ├──1x thin client
├──ordered
│ ├──5x dp cables, 2m
├──accounting
├──archived
We use this structure for processing purchases. A demmand gets created as a folder in the top level, containing related emails that lead to it. If it is ordered, it is moved to the ordered-folder, receiving quotes, delivery notes, etc. and so forth.
In Outlook, public folders are shown in the folder view as a separate account if you will. You can browse all folders you have access to, administer their rights, create move and delete them and their containing items.
I know, this is probably not a simple request, but I thought I ask anyways :)
