Look up for an EteSync Textfield not available after install of evolution-etesync on Pop OS 20.10 (Ubuntu 20.10)
After installing evolution-etesync 1.0.0-3.5 on Pop OS 20.10 with Evolution 3.38.1-1 with the following procedure:
curl -fsSL https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:fawz:libetebase/xUbuntu_20.10/Release.key | gpg --dearmor | sudo tee /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/home_fawz_libetebase.gpg > /dev/null sudo apt update sudo apt install evolution-etesync
- Click on the arrow next to "New" button
- Choose "Collection Account"
- Make sure "Look up for an EteSync account" is ticked.
The textfield "Look up for an EteSync account" is not available to tick (see screenshot)
Please be aware that I did install the package for Ubuntu 20.04 as a mistake, did an uninstall and then installed the Ubuntu 20.10 Package.
The only error message I found is the following:
dpkg: warning: parsing file '/var/lib/dpkg/status' near line 4460 package 'evolu tion-etesync': missing 'Maintainer' field Processing triggers for man-db (2.9.3-2) ...
Any tips for getting more logs or debugging info? I can only check that:
sudo apt install evolution-etesync Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done evolution-etesync is already the newest version (1.0.0-3.5). 0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
evolution-etesync is sucessfully installed.
