The 'contacts' calendar backend leaks BookRecord
I'm on Fedora 28, evolution-data-server package evolution-data-server-3.28.5-1.fc28
.
-
/usr/libexec/evolution-calendar-factory-subprocess
crashes every few days, and abrtd collects a core dump - The process has 1024 FDs open, which causes it to be killed (ulimit)
- The vast majority of these FDs are
anon_inode:[eventfd]
(according to/proc/PID/fdinfo/
or theopen_files
abrtd file, respectivelty) - Correspondingly, I have roughly 1030 threads in the core dump
- I guess there were a few 'normal' threads
- I guess all the other threads are blocked on one eventfd each
I have no clue how to debug this any further, but I'm quite motivated to provide more feedback considering this has been going on for > 1/2 year now (ever since Fedora 28). I doubt it's Fedora-specific, though.
