Evolution EWS calendar on Office 365 account spins forever and eventually fails to sync with "Timeout reached"
I am using Evolution 3.50.0-1 on Ubuntu 23.10
E-Mail on the same EWS account works fine, EWS_DEBUG=1 shows nothing suspicious to the untrained eye, there is little to no network traffic while the calendar is spinning, it just eventually says that a timeout was reached. The same account on another computer with Ubuntu running Ubuntu 22.04 and Evolution 3.44.4-0ubuntu2 works. I should may be add that the calendar is full to the brim with large attachment appointments that people that I cannot control throw there, not ideal, I know, but it should work.
I have tried everything that I could Google, particularly
rm -rf ~/.cache/evolution/calendar
and recreated the entire EWS account after killing all services with "evolution" in their name. Nothing rescues the calendar. Oh, I have other calendar accounts, local, Google, and a CalDAV account. They all work just fine and re-synchronized in a second after the cache was removed.
During my experiments, I also ran into error message that talked about read only databases, but they were spurious and have not come up regularly, not sure that helps.
I need help, please help me =)
