Alarm for the end of a task not working
I am using Arch Linux with Gnome 3.32, Evolution 3.32.4 and evolution-alarm-notify running in the background. I have a task list synchronized via a caldav source.
In Evolution, one can enable alarms when editing a task, to get a reminder before/after the begin/end of a task. However, I don't get any notifications when setting an alarm for the end of a task. I don't have any problems with alarms set for the begin of a task.
First, I think the term end for tasks is unclear or even misleading. In the first place, I thought that this refers to the due-date I have set in my task. Later, I realized that this could maybe refer to the end-date (which in my opinion makes less sense, because a user manually ticks a task as finished, so there is no need for notifications based on the end-date). For testing, I filled out both the due and end date of a task manually, and I didn't get any notification after I set an alarm for the end of the task.
