CalDAV Scheduling - utilize SCHEDULE-AGENT property parameter
When a VEVENT or VTASK with ATTENDEES is created, modified or removed, a scheduling message is sent to the ORGANIZER or to the ATTENDEEs. For a server announcing DAV: calendar-auto-schedule the scheduling message is generated and sent by the server.
If a user removes the “Server handles invitations” bit on the WedDAV resource and uploads a scheduling object resource, the server will still generate an invitation, and Evolution will generate a duplicated invitation.
To instruct the server not to send invitations to an ATTENDEE, when the server is capable to send invitation, the SCHEDULE-AGENT property parameter must be utilized to the value of CLIENT or NONE.
• When a server announces DAV: calendar-auto-schedule
, for an Organizer scheduling object resource, permit the ORGANIZER in the UI to add SCHEDULE-AGENT
parameter per ATTENDEE.
• When a server announces DAV: calendar-auto-schedule
, for an Attendee scheduling object resource, permit the ATTENDEE in the UI to set SCHEDULE-AGENT
parameter for the ORGANIZER.
• Generate within Evolution invitations to the ATTENDEEs andORGINIZERS, which have SCHEDULE-AGENT=CLIENT set
