Provide feedback when file too large to render
(Updated after this comment to better reflect the state)
Evince is unable to render files that are to large and just stops trying once it reaches a limit. This is not communicated to the user who only sees a “loading…” spinner.

Description
Created attachment 174774 TIFF drawing Size: 16.56 x 241.95 inches
try to load the attached tif, crashing down with following message:
Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Programme\Evince-2.30.3\bin\evince.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application´s support team for more information.

trying to load at OpenSUSE 11.3 with evince 2.30.1 the message was:
EvinceDocument: ERROR:ev-document-misc.c58:ev_document_misc_get_thumbnail_frame: assertion failed: (width_r >= 0 && height_r >= 0)

futhermore I want to congratulate you to this fine program. The only thing I am missing, is "ZOOM over 2 points" and "ZOOM with mouse-weel and mouse point"
