Window size gets larger and larger at every reopening

Setup: Debian 9 64-bit, Gnome 3.22.2, Evince Document Viewer 3.22.1, screen resolutions 1680x1050 and 1920x1080.

Every time I reopen the same document (as well as opening/reopening any other document), the window size increases by 7.73% width and 11.22% height, until it reaches screen max. I have tried "Save Current Settings as Default", toggled "Continuous" view option, toggled between "Fit Page"/"Fit Width"/set specific zoom percentage in zoom options, in every combination possible, all to no avail.
