Feature request: Unix printing window should not remember settings

Description
I realise that this may be just a personal thing, but I often print a document with non-standard settings. For instance I may want to print a particular document two-pages-on-one, or another in landscape rather than portrait. Generally I do not want to print the next document with the same settings, but since those settings are remembered I also have to remember what I chose for the last print job to undo them again (or fiddle straight after printing with the non-default settings).
It would be lovely to find some way to resolve this. The simplest solution would simply be not to remember settings. More complex solutions could involve being able to specify default and one-off settings (for instance a check-box to remember the current settings). I would be happy with anything which improves the situation for me. If this is already doable then it may need to be made more obvious.
