Annotation button stays pushed when an annotation is not added

Version: Master Flatpak (2022-01-19 05:49:22 +0000)

OS: Fedora Workstation 35

Steps to reproduce:

  • Click on "Note text" or "Highlight text" annotation.
  • For "Note text", click somewhere outside of the document (outside of the pages). For "Highlight text", either click outside of the document or highlight some text then directly (i.e., while still holding down the mouse button) undo the highlight (by dragging to the opposite side with the mouse).
  • Result: The corresponding annotation button remains pressed, and we can't add the annotation again until we double-click it (one click to depress, the other to push) or use the other annotation.
  • Expected result: Either the selected annotation remains active until it is added to the document (preferred), or the annotation is canceled (and the button is unpressed).
