page scaled @125% is smaller than same page scaled @123%
I have a display with 118 dpi (the X server would be happy to inform of that every interested parties) so, because 11800/96 ⇒ 122.92, to see my pages at natural size I set manually the zoom at 123%: the match when I superpose a paper sheet on the screen is perfect.
Being the lazy person, I thought to use the zoom drop-down menu, that has 125% in it, and it's a good match BUT now the page on the screen is actually SMALLER than the real thing, when obviously it should be ~2% larger!
On the contrary, when I set manually the zoom level at 124.96 evince renders the page slightly larger than expected, as expected.
I suspect that it's not a bug, it's a feature but I'd like to have it fixed or to hear your opinion on the subject…
Thank you ፨ gb
PS: I'm using LaTeX, \documentclass[a4paper]{article} ...
and at 123% the page width on the screen is 210 mm, while at 125% (from menu) it's 203 mm and at 124.99 (set manually) it's 213.x mm.Peek_2021-06-19_09-32
