PDF pages stop after download
As of Ubuntu 18.10, browser-plugin-evince is gone from the repository. This is a problem in itself since some sites display information as pdf data that can't be downloaded, and can only be seen within a page shown by the browser.
Now, the only option is to download a pdf and display it in an external viewer. Epiphany downloads the pdf which must then be viewed as a second step. People accustomed to seeing links - html, pdf, etc - appear when clicked are finding this confusing and a nuisance. Firefox opens downloaded pdf's immediately in the default external viewer. While I find thi a nuisance when I only want to download pdf's without viewing them, it might be good to make pdf viewing a little more transparent.
Technically, this is a feature request. However, people are treating it as a bug. If a shift-click or something could be used for download only, with epiphany defaulting to opening downloaded files automatically, this would solve the problem for people while also keeping the current behavior which some of us might prefer to firefox.
