In dark mode, tweak images' brightness and contrast when using reader mode to reduce glare
When reading articles at night with the Reader mode, you often get quite a bit of blinding illumination / glare when a photo shows up through the content as you scroll.
Epiphany's Reader mode should probably use this CSS filter trick (lower brightness, higher contrast?) when running in dark mode… at least when not hovered by the mouse and not just "scrolling over it" (but that would complexify the implementation; I'm fine with that not being part of it, and images simply having that filter applied statically as long as you're in dark mode).
For testing purposes, here are some examples of articles with multiple photos that show up in reader mode, most of which are high-key (bright) photography:
