Unable to open .mhtml files
I've saved some .mhtml files with GNOME Web. As far as I can tell, they appear to save just fine. I can open them up in a text editor and everything appears to be there as I would expect.
However, when I try to open those .mhtml files with GNOME Web, it just loads to a blank page.
If I open the page inspector, I can see that the displayed source code is just: <html><head></head><body></body></html>
.
I've tried this both by opening directly from my file manager, as well as opening within the app itself, in case it requires using the file open dialog for correct permissions. Either way has the same result.
I've also verified that I can open regular .html files just fine. The issue appears to be specific to .mhtml files.
Steps to reproduce:
- Open a .mhtml file.
Expected result:
The .mhtml file opens and displays correctly.
Actual result:
A blank page is loaded.
My system:
- GNOME Web 41, installed via the modern Flatpak from Flathub. I've also tested with the Fedora Flatpak.
- Fedora Silverblue 35.20211206.0
- Wayland
