power management inhibition

Description
I'm not sure if Empathy already does this (couldn't find a previous bug about inhibition), but here goes:
GNOME has an API for temporarily preventing the computer from automatically going into power saving mode (such as sleep/hibernate/poweroff).
It seems it moved into gnome-session: http://www.gnome.org/~mccann/gnome-session/docs/gnome-session.html#org.gnome.SessionManager.Inhibit (See http://blogs.gnome.org/hughsie/2009/01/28/inhibits-and-the-new-world-order/)
I see the following use cases for inhibition prevention:
- during a voice call or file transfer, inhibit suspend/hibernate/poweroff
- during a webcam chat, inhibit session idle (so that the screen doesn't blank and the computer doesn't go in suspend too)
