Description
Created attachment 309448 comparison of a text-wrapping UML class diagram in dia and exported to SVG
In UML class diagrams, Dia wraps lines that become too long. When dealing with a long method signature, it will correctly wrap after the end of the first parameter and indent the second line so the parameters are left-aligned by inserting a sufficient amount of leading whitespace.
When exporting this to SVG, the whitespace is copied as is, which, in SVG, means no whitespace is rendered there (as evidenced by displaying the exported SVG file e.g. in Inkscape, Chrome and Firefox) and the intended indentation is lost (see attached screenshot).
