Suggestion: implement touch-based text selection

Hi! Could you possibly consider adding touch text selection as found on Android, iOS, and also some GTK+ apps with the two draggable handles and proper copy buttons? Not only is the current context menu with "Select all" a pain for selecting a specific word (like a password shown over a remote connection in a terminal text editor), but there also doesn't seem to be a way to copy anything just to paste. If selecting all was supposed to copy everything then it didn't for me, and even then I would have needed to paste it into gedit first and then actually select what I wanted which seems hardly ideal. So if an actual text selection was integrated into kgx directly that would at least help my personal usage a lot, not sure if I'm the only one.
