Keyboard shortcuts for tabs are inconsistent with other apps
Please add Ctrl+PgUp and Ctrl+PgDn as additional next tab and previous tab keyboard shortcuts.
Shift+Ctrl+Tab is extremely difficult to do on my ergonomic keyboard. I would love to use Console but this makes it impossible for me: I often have a lot of tabs and I can't use the keyboard go to the previous tab, only the next.
Ctrl+Tab and Shift+Ctrl+Tab are also inconsistent with other GNOME and non-GNOME apps. These all use Ctrl+PgUp and Ctrl+PgDn:
- Web browsers: Firefox, Chrome, Edge, GNOME Web, ...
- Other GNOME apps: gnome-text-editor, Nautilus, ...
- Other terminals: GNOME Terminal, Tilix, ...
You could still keep the Ctrl+Tab and Shift+Ctrl+Tab shortcuts as well. Some other apps support both shortcuts (e.g. browsers), although this does not appear to be common in GNOME apps and some of them seem to use Ctrl+Tab to move the keyboard focus between UI elements. Either way please add Ctrl+PgUp and Ctrl+PgDn.
All of the above apps also use Shift+Ctrl+PgUp and Shift+Ctrl+PgDn to reorder tabs.
Thanks!
