GUI bugs
Answers of Xavi de Blas on bold
Shortcuts dialog:
- "Select previous person" is placed twice, one should be "next". Done!
- "t" meaning key name is marked for translation (label35). Done!
Splash screen
- message "Preparing main Window" is not translatable (other messages probably too, but it's to fast to read)
Preferences:
- "System sounds" isn't marked as translatable Done!
- "Need to install v4l2-ctl (on v4l-utils) to know modes" isn't marked for translation (BTW text continues outside the dialog) Pending, I see it also happens on change language message if preferences window was created small, eg. when open it form races mode Now all can be seen, but continues pending the translation
- "Decimal number" is unclear, e.g. "Decimal places" would be better. Done!
- "Joules" should be marked as translatable (other units probably too) Done!
- "Km/h" is false, it should be "km/h" Done!
- When you check "Show advanced controls" the showed widgets continues out of the window without a scrollbar Done!
- States "Running" and "Not running" for Multimedia/Video aren't marked for translation. Done!. It would be also nice to mark state "Play" with context to distinguish it from tooltip for Play button.
Device dialog:
- "Close Window" (src/gui/chronopicRegister.cs) isn't marked for translation Done!
Show all tests of a person:
- Column "Date" is vertically aligned to the top instead to the centre Done!
Main window:
- Why messages "Measured with encoder" and "All sessions" (glade/app1.glade) include tab char? Done! My mistake using glade app pressing tab to go to next widget... and tab got there on the string
- Crash report has fixed frame size which is narrow for some translated languages names. Done!
- Information text for Races intervallic 20m10times is created bad way (function setLabelContactsExerciseSelectedOptionsRunsInterval() in contactsExercise.cs). It should use ngettext for laps. Not. Note that is runInterval so there is always more than one lap
- Information message "This feature need a new Chronojump device…" isn't marked for translation (and there is typo: need -> needs) Fixed the typo, but note this is not available yet to the users... so no need to translate, I just hidden related widgets
Other
- It would be nice to replace "..." (three dots) by "…" (ellipsis) FOR NEXT VERSION BECAUSE AFFECTS MANY STRINGS
