Writing CD-Text data hangs and then crashes when writing CD Audio

Description
Xubuntu 14.04.5 LTS. Brasero 3.10.0.
I create a new CD audio project. The disc is a "CD-R Audio". I add some tracks (FLAC), and I burn the disc.
The message box says "Writing CD-Text..." or something like that (translating). However it takes longer than normal (quite some minutes) and then it completely hangs the software (the progress bar stops and the program doesn't respond). I then have to force the software to quit with the task manager and restart the computer to "unlock" my CD drive.
So I opened the audio files with another software and I removed all tags and I renamed each file with shorter names and ASCII-only characters. At this point I tried again and it worked: the CD-Text writing process took only 1 or 2 minutes and then the actual burning of the tracks took place and finished successfully.
I tried this process several time, both with "CD-R Audio" and "CD-RW" types of discs, alternating between albums with original names and tags and the same albums cleared of tags and with shorter names.
My guess is that if the filenames or tags contains some characters or are too long, the CD-Text writing process crashes due to some bug.
In the meanwhile, I would like to disable the CD-Text writing, since I actually don't care about CD-Text at all. So, other than reporting the bug, I would like to ask you how can I do that, since I don't seem to find an option to disable CD-Text.
Thanks for any help.
