Issue importing PKCS#12 based connection
I'm trying to import a new connection
dev tun
persist-tun
persist-key
cipher AES-256-CBC
ncp-disable
auth SHA256
tls-client
client
resolv-retry infinite
remote xx.xxx.com 1194 udp4
lport 0
verify-x509-name "openVPN" name
auth-user-pass
pkcs12 my-certificate.p12
tls-auth my-key.key 1
remote-cert-tls server
comp-lzo
and I get the following error
[sbucik@sbucik vpn]$ nmcli connection import type openvpn file my-vpn.ovpn
Error: failed to import 'my-vpn.ovpn': The file to import wasn’t a valid OpenVPN configuration (--ca can not be PKCS#12 format).
It seems like network manager doesn't recognize my certificate as pkcs#12, instead it assumes its in pem format. The correct option would be --pkcs12
I'm using 5.13.19-2-MANJARO
