OpenVPN connection using certificates asks for certificate password even if password is not required is set

Bug summary
An OpenVPN connection imported from file (in this case IPFire) that uses certificates (Type Certificates (TLS)) and has no user key password (User key password is set to "The password is not required") still asks for a password when connecting. Entering anything will connect. Entering nothing is not possible as the connect button is disabled.
Steps to reproduce
- Have an OpenVPN connection that uses certificates and has no user key password set
- Try to connect to the OpenVPN connection

Gnome asks for certificate password
What did you expect to happen
Gnome connects to the VPN without asking for password
