Avatar Consistency
Description
In GNOME we currently have almost as many avatar widget implementations as GNOME 1 had clock applications, and they all look different from one application to the other. Let's unify them so GNOME looks consistent.
Goals
Libhandy offers HdyAvatar, which have been developed in tight collaboration with GNOME designers, let's port applications to it, adding features to the widget in time for GNOME 40 if needed.
Scope
- Core apps presenting avatars
- Other apps presenting avatars
- The shell
- The HIG

Fix libadwaita
Regarding the shell, I doubt we can use HdyAvatar but it may be less of an issue if it's different, applications are what matter here.
How can I help
- Look for more applications presenting avatars, add them to the list or comment about them
- Pick an application and port it
- Check if applications already use HdyAvatar: in that case, just tick them out.
- Update the HIG
- Look for issues and bugs in HdyAvatar
