input lag in SNES games
Hi!
It seems like I'm having some input lag only when I'm using GNOME Games. When I use Steam, the lag is small enough that I don't feel it much. What I feel when I play with GNOME Games is that it takes about 300 to 400 ms to act after I pressed a button (so not terrible, but definitely noticable).
Since all this is very subjective, I'd like to have the community feedback on it before really calling it an "issue".
I'm running on Fedora 33 with Xorg. My machine is plugged to an A/V receiver, itself plugged to my TV. I've tested with an 8bitdo and a PS4 controller, both wired and wireless (Bluetooth). The lag with Bluetooth is obviously easier to see, but it is still noticable when wired. If tend to feel the lag more when playing Super Mario World on SNES.
- Do you have the same experience?
- If you don't, did you configure or install anything special?
- What's your setup?
Thanks!
