Hey, just found this list, and I happen to have done a similar thing! No particular reason behind why I did it, I just liked the idea. Mind you I still haven't done anything with this page, no one should know about it right now. But at this point, if you like the idea of having a dedicated website for collecting cool GNOME apps, maybe we can start from mine?
Here's the link https://gabmus.gitlab.io/gnome-app-ecosystem/

Hey @GabMus, this website is pretty cool! Congrats on this work, it’s really great and I’m sure we can make something out of it!
A few things come to my mind:
- It is adverstised as GNOME, which is something you shouldn’t do without the approval of the Foundation. The Foundation owns the GNOME trademark
- We have a nice Circle initiative with a committee to define what is a GNOME app, and what is a GNOME Circle app (see the announcement on our Discourse)
Maybe opening a ticket to the Circle initiative to showcase your work and offer it as a base for a dedicated site would be a good idea! I’ll be bringing this to Engagement as well to see how we can sort things out.
And if you’re a web developer with some spare time to dedicate to GNOME, Engagement could use your help on a few things too!

Yeah I know, I wasn't too happy about it either. Look at the disclaimers in the footer.

Will have a look at those, thanks!

Sure, would be glad to help!

Hey, @GabMus.
Time ago I worked in something similar, I started with a list of app ids to generated a JSON file from Flathub data.
